Active co-partner in Mission Rabies with W.V.S.(U.K.), Dog Trust (U.K), Animal Welfare Board of India(MoEF, GoI) Chennai
Dr Shashikant Jadhav, Secratery VFA worked as a Senior Veterinary Co-ordinator for North India and Dr Shridhar D Budhe, President VFA worked as a Chief Co-ordinator, Nagpur in Mission Rabies.
During Mission Rabies,VFA, volunteers of Worldwide Veterinary Services(WVS, UK) and Dog Trust (UK) volunteers, Indian Society for Animal Human Welfare (iSAW, Nagpur) and Nagpur Municipal Corporation(NMC, Nagpur)- all came together to vaccinate 5,101 stray and owner dogs in a short period of 13 days, from 1st Sept to 13 Sept. 2013.

VFA is active member of ABC INDIA, a pan-Indian trust, formed of Indian animal welfare organizations and technical specialists in Animal Birth Control. Dr Shashikant S. Jadhav, Secretary of Vets For Animals is Secretary of ABC India also.
